TOA NX-100S Awarded Best Audio Routing Product at Infocomm 2005
The TOA NX-100S Network Audio Adapter was awarded "Best Audio Routing Product for Commercial Installation" at the AV Communications Excellence Awards Banquet held June 7, 2005 at Infocomm 2005 in Las Vegas, NV.
The NX-100S is a cost effective solution for routing audio and switch closures over IP networks. It has the same core features as the groundbreaking first generation NX-100 launched in 2003, including bi-directional audio and switch closure routing over IP networks, including the Internet. New features include 24 VDC phantom power for condenser microphones plus front panel signal and peak indicators. The flagship NX-100 also includes RS-232 transport and an external 24 VDC input. Backed by TOA’s five-year product warranty, the new NX-100S is ideal for paging, background music and messaging audio distribution over networks for airports, campuses, convention centers and transit systems.
"We're extremely pleased and appreciative to be recognized by the industry with this award" notes Steve Mate, Sr. Marketing Manager at TOA Electronics, Inc. "With over two years of successful installations, the NX-100 technology has proven to be a solid, reliable solution for distributing audio over IP networks."

Audio signal processing, sometimes referred to as audio processing, is the processing of a representation of auditory signals, or sound. The representation can be digital or analog. An analog representation is usually electrical; a voltage level represents the air pressure waveform of the sound. Similarly, a digital representation expresses the pressure wave-form as a sequence of symbols, usually binary numbers. | |
