TOA aims high with new HX-5 Speaker!
TOA has released the new HX-5 variable dispersion speakers, ideal for installations in auditoriums, houses of worship and gymnasiums. The HX-5 provides a unique alternative to conventional two-way speakers for installed sound and the innovative design allows users to easily adjust the speaker’s dispersion pattern to 60, 45, 30 or 15 degrees to suit the application. Features include high power handling (600 Watts continuous), lightweight polypropylene construction, availability in black and white plus Speakon and screw terminal connectors. The HX-5 can be vertically or horizontally mounted with the built-in bracket or with optional wall, ceiling and stand-mount hardware. Other options include the FB-120 subwoofer, weather-resistant versions and 70 volt transformer. The new HX-5 speakers are backed with a five year product warranty.
“TOA engineers continue to push the envelope beyond conventional design. The HX-5’s variable pattern control is a brilliant concept that works extremely well,” remarks Steve Mate, Senior Marketing Manager at TOA Electronics, Inc.

Audio signal processing, sometimes referred to as audio processing, is the processing of a representation of auditory signals, or sound. The representation can be digital or analog. An analog representation is usually electrical; a voltage level represents the air pressure waveform of the sound. Similarly, a digital representation expresses the pressure wave-form as a sequence of symbols, usually binary numbers. | |
