Satriani’s new Peavey JSX Guitar Amplifier
Influential music maven,
Joe Satriani has designed his own signature amplifier in conjunction
with Peavey, after touring for over twenty years. The well known sound connoisseur, guitar hero
and mentor to the stars (Kirk Hammet, Steve Vai et al) has been using
Peavey amps on his albums and tours over the years. Now he has
launched the new ultimate tone machine, the Peavey JSX guitar amplifier.

“I was looking for what
most people want, which is a great sound, flexibility in gain and the
ability to have a few different channels with the widest variety of tone
controls possible.”
“The Peavey JSX, to me, is
basically the difference between a classic amp and a modern amp. On this
amp, you can have a vintage tone and flick the Fat switch for extra low
end and it becomes a more modern version of your favourite vintage amp.
It’s very exciting.”
The JSX features;
-
Designed to Joe Satriani’s
specifications
-
Global Resonance and Presence controls
-
Three-band EQ on each channel
-
Punchy high-gain structure on the Crunch and Ultra
channels
-
Ships with EL34 tubes, but can be configured for 6L6
tubes
-
Fully adjustable noise gate for the Crunch & Ultra
channels
-
