Technology advances in Marantz Professional’s Solid-State Recorders

For years, Marantz Professional has led the industry in the recording and gathering of audio for applications ranging from Houses of Worship to corporate boardrooms, to court houses and many more. Not afraid of moving with the technology, Marantz Professional has now released two new solid-state recorders, the PMD570 and the PMD660.

The PMD660 is a compact, full-scale digital recorder which features an XLR microphone input with phantom power as well as non-stop recording with 4 hours of battery life, and an EDL marking system for creating new files on-the-fly during recording for easy file selection during playback.

The PMD570 pro-installation solid-state recorder replaces the traditional cassette tape with the readily available and affordable CF (compact flash) card, while offering advanced features such as easy one-touch recording and more than 40 assignable quality settings and security.
