This warranty applies to purchases made in Australia only. Should service become necessary during the warranty period the Owner should contact the Retailer from whom the product was purchased, or contact Audio Products Group through this website for the name and address of the nearest Authorised Repair Agent.

In order to obtain warranty service, the owner must present their original purchase receipt from an authorised Audio Products Group Retailer with the product for repair to the authorised agent. For this reason we recommend you store your purchase receipt in a safe place should it be required in the future.

Warranty is offered on a carry-in basis only, with the exception of television sets 68cm and over and DLP rear projection units to which in home service applies within the metropolitan area of any Australian capital city.

Warranty Conditions
Warranty only applies provided that the product has been installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations under normal and reasonable care and does not cover: damage or failure resulting from use on incorrect voltage, alteration, accident or misuse, negligent, faulty or improper installation or maladjustment.

In addition reception problems arising from inadequate antenna systems, outside interference, mains supply problems, thunderstorm activity, infestation by vermin or insects, tampering by unauthorised persons or incompatibility with other brand name equipment or accessories are also excluded.

Failure of the user to observe any recommended precautions noted in the Operating Instructions or exposure to abnormally harsh or corrosive conditions, or allowing any foreign objects or matter such as coins, liquids, pins or dirt to enter the product, will void the warranty.

Specifically warranty will not apply to:

  • Damage or wear and tear which is caused by excessive use, such as the commercial use of domestic equipment.
  • Defects to the domestic DVD or CD player laser, where by virtue of its use in a professional installation excessive wear has occurred.
  • Consumables such as batteries, cassette tapes and the like, for which replacement may be purchased as required.
  • Defects to styli, video or audio tapes, video, control, audio recording and playback heads resulting from wear and tear during normal use.
  • Damage to audio recording or playback heads caused by the use of cleaning tapes or materials.
  • Damage caused by leaking batteries.
  • Repairs carried out by a non authorised person or service centre.
  • Lamp burn-out in projectors.
  • DVD software incompatibility or error.
  • Overdriving of speakers.

APG shall not be liable for damages to other property caused by defects in its products, damages based upon inconvenience, loss of use of the product, loss of time or data, commercial loss or any other damages, whether real, incidental or consequential.

The benefits conferred by this warranty are additional to all other conditions, rights and remedies expressed or implied by the Trade Practices Act and similar State and Territory laws and all other obligations and liabilities on the part of the manufacturer or supplier.

  • Note 8. LCD Pixel Protection Policy. Liquid Crystal Displays will qualify for replacement only if there is one illuminated pixel and / or 4 grouped black pixels.
