Denon announces a new Network Media player
Denon Electronics, one of the world's premier manufacturers of high-quality home entertainment components, today announced the release a new Network Media player that can add the latest media streaming feature to any existing audio system.
The DNP720AE Network Media player is the same size as a normal tuner, in fact it includes an AM/FM tuner as well as all the latest network media features. You can play audio from just about any source, such as;
- Over 18,000 internet radio stations and podcasts without the need for a computer - customers are also provided free access to the world’s best internet radio database so that individual favourites can be added to the receiver’s menu for quick and easy selection
- Apple AirPlay devices including iTunes on Mac or PC, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch
- Any DLNA network computer device
- Windows Media Player 11 or 12
- Windows 7 “Play to” compatible
- DLNA Android smartphones
- Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices
Easy Networking
Denon has emphasised ease of use in designing the DNP720AE and features an easy Setup Wizard to facilitate the initial network setup either via its Ethernet port or WPS Wi-Fi. The DNP720AE is compatible with the Denon Remote App, allowing users with an iPhone, or iPod Touch to control their system from that device. Simply use “Denon remote” as your search word in the iTunes APP stores and you can download the APP for free.
The DNP720AE also features a USB inputs for iPod and iPhone. Users can navigate the iPod or iPhone menu using the DNP720AE remote control.
Superlative Audio Quality
The DNP720AE utilises a state of the art 24-bit / 192kHz Digital to analogue converter ensuing all your audio files are played back in pristine quality. The DNP720Ae also features support for the new HD audio format FLAC HD, 96-khz / 24bit

The DNP720AE will be available in late October from authorised Denon dealers with RRP of $AUD699 & $NZD999. The DNP720AE is available in Black & Silver finish.
